Our weather station
Located on our deck, attached to one of the foundational support pillars outside the workout machine room, is our new weather station. As you can see, the station is just underneath the curtain wall of our main tower. Patrik Janic, our chief engineer, installed the station here as a proof of concept, which did return results while it was in operation. Given the location, the unit wasn't able to return much in the way of accurate data, except possibly barometric pressure. I suggested relocating the unit atop our racquetball court roof, as close as possible to the driveway of our garage. This should provide us with much higher quality data regarding wind speed in particular, which is of significant interest to me, and should be to you too.
